IT’S OK TO BE DIFFERENT.

If you should say to someone: “I am different”, they might think you are strange. But when one becomes a child of God, they should be different in every way, and it’s ok. 

II Corinthians 5 V 17 KJV,
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 

We are called to be the light of the world, so our light must shine.

In the book of Daniel we are told of these three boys who were besieged from their country to Babylon. They wanted to change everything about them, but the Lord was on their side. They changed their names, their food, and wanted them to worship other Gods. But they refused, and because of that they were sentenced to death by a fiery furnace.

Daniel 3V17 &18 KJV.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

When Christ comes in our lives, He abides with us at all times. When we are in trouble, just call His name. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of need. It is ok to be different for God, so the world can see Him through your way of living.

Lord Jesus we thank you today for reminding us that it’s ok for us to be different, and more like You. Help us to be the light You have called us to be in Jesus Name Amen.
