PRAYER WORKS EVERY TIME.

We are told in Philippians 4V6 KJV “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

When we fully believe that only God alone can help us, we will not stop PRAYING until the light breaks through. We just need to learn how to humble ourselves before God, and be prayerful in all things; giving thanks for everything.

In 1 Samuel 1, we are reminded of a woman who was barren; her name was Hannah. She wanted to have a child for her husband, “BUT THE LORD HAD SHUT UP HER WOMB.” – Verse 5.

So she went to God in humbleness of heart. “And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” – Verse 11

And in deed God heard and granted her request. He opened up her womb and indeed blessed her with a man child, who became a great worker for God. He was a Prophet, Priest, and a Judge.  As a mother I can imagine how Hannah must have felt over her son that she asked God for. I don’t know what’s in your life that is not going the way you would have loved to see it go, and you have been PRAYING, don’t stop, God will come through for you. He came through for Hannah. He’s the same today, He has not changed and He will come through for you.

Father, our father, that’s who You are to us. We are Your children; today we need your help. There are these things we are faced with and we give them to You in PRAYER. We’re asking you to fix them for us in JESUS’ NAME, AMEN.
